Ice Fishing 101
Our Ice Fishing 101 class is a hands on learning experience where you get to experience ice fishing with the latest equipment and technology. You will learn how pick a place to fish, run the power auger, set up a portable shack, set tips ups, use tip downs, and use a jig rod. We also cover using electronics, gps and a fish cleaning demo will be given. All bait and equipment is provided and you will have the opportunity see what ice fishing is all about.
The final class of the year will be held in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Sawyer Lake. This class is sponsored by Mid Town Bait and Tackle in Channing Michigan. You can register by calling Midtown Bait at 906-542-7080. If you would like a private class for your business or group of friends we are now booking for the 2010 - 2011 season.
What to Bring to Class
All fishing gear will be provided but if you would like to bring your own we can help you get it set up. Bring sunglasses, a camera, your fishing license, hand and foot warmers and what you want to eat or drink. The Sawyer Lake Class and the BOW class include lunch.
Your 2009 WI fishing license is valid until March of 2010. We fish in all sorts of weather. Please see our "
